About the role

Mixvoip is embarking on an exciting R&D project that leverages AI to enhance our customer interactions and services. The goal is to gather and analyze data related to customer activities, such as support tickets, phone calls, emails, and product subscriptions, and enrich it with publicly available information like industry type and company size. Using this data, we aim to train a local neural network to help us improve our sales processes and the quality of our support services. Rest assured, privacy and data security are top priorities in this project. We are committed to handling all data with the utmost care, and used responsibly to benefit both our customers and our internal processes.

• API integration: A significant part of your role will involve fetching and integrating data from various sources, including internal APIs and third-party APIs. A strong understanding of formats like JSON and XML is essential. Proficiency in PHP or Python is required for handling these tasks effectively.
• Environment: Your laptop will be running Linux, and you'll be using tools like GitLab for version control, Notion for documentation, YouTrack for issue tracking, and PhpStorm as your IDE. Being a Linux user and fan definitely helps, as our development environment is heavily Linux-based.
• Large Language Models (LLMs): You'll work with open-source LLMs like LLaMA and Mistral, applying key concepts such as training, fine-tuning, inference, and tokenization. While you don't need to be an expert, having a curiosity and basic understanding of how these models work will be beneficial as you contribute to our AI initiatives.
• Python Libraries for AI/ML: You'll be using key tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers… Experience with installing, running, and experimenting with models from these libraries will be valuable as you help implement and fine-tune AI solutions within our projects.

For your convenience, the underlined keywords should be your focus. Don’t know what they are? No problem, you’ll learn by doing. You could however google these terms to at least get an idea of what they’re used for.

What do we need from you?

At Mixvoip, we're more interested in your passion for AI and technology than formal qualifications. While experience is appreciated, what truly matters to us is your curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. We’re looking for someone who stays up-to-date with the latest AI trends, enjoys experimenting with AI models in their free time, and is eager to apply that knowledge in real-world projects.

Python is essential for this role, and if you’ve dabbled with AI libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers, that’s a big plus. Basic PHP skills are also welcome. Whether you've trained a small neural network or tinkered with open-source models like LLaMA or Mistral, we want to hear from you.

Being comfortable with Linux is important, as you’ll be working in a Linux-based environment. If you’re the kind of person who enjoys exploring new tools, automating tasks, or setting up your own tech projects at home, you’ll fit right in here.
